We were founded in 2013 as Whitebox Technologies by a group of curious entrepreneurs in Baltimore, Maryland. (Our first office was the living room of a townhouse!) Our sole purpose was to build technology that helped ecommerce brands launch and grow.
From there, our team grew and designed data-driven solutions to serve the entire ecommerce lifecycle. We understood the importance of leveraging data in building profitable businesses — and that's been the key to our approach since the beginning.
Factory Floor to Front Door
In 2018, we opened and began operating a nationwide fulfillment network. We used our unique position in the market as an advertiser and 3PL (third-party logistics) partner to combine sales and fulfillment data to help our customers grow sales and save costs.
In 2023, after years of growing our fulfillment expertise, Whitebox entered a strategic fulfillment partnership with Ware2Go, a UPS company, and rededicated our focus on building new tech products that help brands grow profitably — a priority for every seller in the market.

Hayley is responsible for leading WBX Commerce's operational success. Her team is focused on understanding our clients, building partnerships, and enhancing our position as an ecommerce leader.
As CTO, Sean leads the team responsible for the development of our technology at WBX Commerce. He is focused on the automation of our processes, both internal and external.
Dan has been with WBX Commerce since 2018 leading the sales efforts. He has spent his entire career in advertising and media, working with companies like The Baltimore Sun and Millennial Media.
Drew is responsible for leading data science, analytics, and marketplace product strategy. His team focuses on providing the insights that help internal and external partners make smarter business decisions as well as implementing strategies to maximize our clients’ marketplace growth.
Carl is responsible for leading the WBX team in our mission to grow brands on Amazon using our industry-leading advertising experience and advanced analytics technology.
